About Phuket Romantic Dining

Our Story

Phuket Romantic Dining started in 2015 by Thavorn Beach Village Resort and Spa as way to offer in-house guests meaningful beach dining experiences.

Our private beach location makes it possible for us to create unique, tailor-made, and private beach dining experience for our guests without interruptions from outside street vendors suffered by many other beachfront resorts in Phuket.

After a while through word-of-mouth, we began to receive outside customers, whom inspired us to officially offer our services to the general public. Our long-term goal is to market our services as one of the must-do activities while visiting Phuket.

We are situated at Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa on Nakalay Beach, one of the island’s last remaining privately accessible beaches in Phuket unspoiled by the island’s increasing commercialization.

The Private Beach Location

While strolling on Nakalay Beach, you can expect a down-to-earth sense of calm and escape not found anywhere else in Phuket, Thailand. You will not be bothered by souvenir vendors or noisy jet skis plaguing other commercial beaches like Patong and Kata.

During low tide hours, you can find remnants of a prehistoric coral reef filled with life and interesting critters like hermit crabs, gobies, sea cucumbers and occasionally moray eels.

Despite our private nature, we are easily accessible from major Phuket beaches. We are 15-minute drive from Patong Beach, 5-minute drive from Kamala Beach and 25 minute-drive from Karon Beach.

Is the beach dining experience can be set up for a group ? I will be traveling with a group during and would love to dine with you during our stay.

Yes, We can set as a group with minimum spending at THB15,000. as might need to block all cabana areas for your group

Is the table on the beach?

Yes, Our beach cabana is on the sand except in case of rain where you will be assigned an alternative indoor seating. After rain ends, you will be given the choice to remain indoors or return to your original outdoor seating.

What time the sunset?

Sunset time is between 6:00 – 6:45 pm. We recommend you schedule your dinner time before sunset in order to enjoy the stunning view of the soft-orange sunset light along the glistening sea.

Do you have a price list for all your services?

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my reservation?

We require deposit of 50% in order to secure your desired dinner date. The rest of the balance will be collected on dinner date.

Extra service payment will be collected in full on reservation date or at least 7 days before dinner date.

Can we pay for reservation on the dinner night itself?

If you are one of the guests who book our beach cabana set up only (no food included), a la carte food orders from our menu can be paid upon finishing your dinner.

Is transportation to the venue included?

No, transportation is not included. If you need any advice on booking transportation, we can help refer you to a suitable transportation provider.

How much will my experience be the same as the photos advertised?

We go above and beyond to provide you, as well as hundreds of happy customers a year, with the most magical dinner experience. Nonetheless, please note that the dinner ambience is dependent on weather as well as high/low tide, both of which are outside our control. (Anything below 1.7 meters on the tide table is considered low tide)

Is the restaurant Halal?

We do not served Halal food

How far will I be from other tables/diners?

There will be a comfortable distance of approximately 2-5 meters between you and other tables/diners depend on number on resevation.

How long we can seat for dinner?

You can have your table until 11:00 pm as our restaurant opening hours 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. But please note that last food and beverage orders will be at 10:30PM. Last Dinner shall be seated no later than 9:00PM.

Do you offer vegetarian option?

We provide vegetarian options in our ala carte menu. Nonetheless, If you’ve purchased one of our packages that include set menu but require a vegetarian option, please let us know in your special request and we will do our best to tweak the menu suit your dietary needs.

What happens if it rains?

1) In case of unexpected rain during your dinner, we will arrange you an indoor seating instead. Once the rain stops, you will be given the choice to return to your original seating if you wish
2) Prior to arriving for your dinner, if there appears to be high risk of rain, you may notify us to reschedule your dinner date no later than 4:00PM. Reschedule approval is subject to availability.

Do you allow customers to bring in outside food and drinks?

We do not allow outside food. As for drinks, if you wish to bring your own liquor/wine, we have a corkage charge of 500THB.

I chose the Lost on the beach theme, and the setup was absolutely stunning. The service was top notch and the food was scrumptious - the portion size was generous.
Moo, Mam, Honey and Ice served us and they were so lovely to us. Honey took some amazing photographs of us. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, we enjoyed interacting with them and the service was high quality. They truly cared about the experience we were having. From the moment he hopped out of the taxi we were greeted at the front of the hotel and taken down to our cabana where Jee took care of everything we needed for the whole evening. We had the international set menu which was delicious. The lighting on the cabana and the clean quiet beach made for the perfect atmosphere for my proposal. Thanks
